Mercy( Romans 9:18)

"Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth."-Romans 9:18 KJV

 

The latter,

 

Misunderstood by some as suffering in life / hard trials.

 

Yet, as read throughout the whole Bible,

 

the longsuffering of the Lord is Salvation.

 

This hardeneth, is towards the unsaved,

 

Not as going through hard trials as Job,

 

But in hardening the heart to work against the Word.

 

The former mercy, is towards the saved.

 

"And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,"-Romans 9:23 KJV
